That's Not How I Met You...

Moment of truth time. What happens when your significant other "gets too comfortable"? What the hell am I talking about you ask? You KNOW what I'm talking about. When your significant other starts to pack on the pounds. When they start getting lazy because they don't have to "impress" you anymore. When it's fried foods over fitness. Is it not reasonable to expect your significant other to stay in shape? To keep that curvy or muscular body they had when you met them? Comment!

  1. it depends on the person, eventually, we all change... but if thats a known expectation then u gotta keep it up. I met a couple when i was working retail and the husband said his wife knew he would leave her if you gain a ton of weight( and she co-signed)...with that being said, they worked out together and stayed on one another. So its a good deal.

  2. I agree wit that couples beliefs. If there's an understanding coming into the relationship then the consequences have already been outlined. But with that being said i feel like their should be a little wiggle room with this. I don't think it should be as drastic as you gain ten pounds im leaving but in perspective. I feel like if you come into the relationship wanting the other to loose weight, yall shouldnt even start the relationship but for marriages i can totally understand. I believe couples should be able to tell one another if their gaining weight. Then like the mentioned above couple they should work out together make it fun wit ya mate.

  3. Im in pretty decent shape. My girlfriend/wife will most likely be in pretty decent shape. If she starts to fall off, ima call her out & she got 6 months to get right. If she doesnt, then she's being selfish and is not the woman i fell in love with anymore..CUT DAT HOE OFF. lol

If she has a child, I'll give her 1.5 years to get back in the game. Getting in decent shape aint that hard. I'll motivate her, workout with her, & make sure we eat healthy together. But if she refuses to look attractive, then we have BIG problems.

  4. I agree with all. LMAO @ 101 with the rigorous schedule! HAHAHAHAHAHA. But that's real though. I have never understood why people fall off and then question why their significant other is looking in another direction. I look it at it like this. I can't change my face (except through plastic surgery and FUCK THAT) so the least I can do is keep my body on point.

  5. And like Dr. Reason said, it's something you can have fun with while being healthy.
